A grounded portrait experience for men ready to reflect on presence, legacy, wisdom, and what it means to be a man at this stage of life.
Life Camera Soul Photography creates Men Over 40 portraits in Pittsburgh, with studio sessions near McKnight Road in the North Hills and select on-location sessions throughout the surrounding region. Select travel portrait experiences are available for meaningful projects outside of the Pittsburgh area.

This experience is not about styling you into someone else. It is about creating space for men over 40 to reflect on what they have lived, what they carry, and how they want to be remembered.
You do not need to know how to pose. You will be guided through expression, posture, lighting, and presence throughout the session.

Each portrait is created with calm direction, intentional lighting, and space for the man in front of the camera to be seen with dignity.

The Men Over 40 Portrait Experience is $495.
The Men Over 40 Portrait Experience begins at $495. The session fee includes your planning consultation, guided portrait session, ordering/reveal appointment, and a complimentary 8x10 matted print of your choice.
Additional photographs, digital images, wall art, albums, matted prints, and finished portrait products are available for purchase after your session.
Participation is limited so each man can be photographed, interviewed, and represented with care.
Guided Portrait Direction
You do not have to know how to pose or perform for the camera. You’ll be guided through posture, expression, lighting, and subtle movement.
Reveal & Finished Artwork
You’ll view and select your favorite images at the studio, with options for additional portraits, digital images, wall art, albums, matted prints, and printed pieces.
Written Story Feature
Your reflections may become part of a written story article exploring what it means to be a man today. This story may accompany your portrait in the exhibition and may also be shared through our website, blog, and social platforms.
Gallery Exhibition
Once the series is complete, select portraits and stories will be featured in a quiet, intentional exhibition honoring the men who participated.

Why I created the Men Over 40 Portrait Series.
I created the Men Over 40 Portrait Series to invite men over the age of 40 to come in, be photographed with dignity, and share their voice and life experiences in a way that can uplift, motivate, and inspire others.
You never know who may be impacted simply by seeing you stand in your truth. Sometimes it only takes one man’s story, one honest reflection, or one portrait of presence to create a ripple effect for someone else watching from the outside looking in.
This experience is about more than being photographed. It is about honoring what you’ve lived, what you carry, what you’ve learned, and the possibility that your story may help another man feel seen, encouraged, or less alone.
